Milk and cookies. Batman and Robin. Cats and catnip. Like a lot of things that go well together, fundraisers and parties were meant to be. What’s not to like about raising money for a good cause while having fun?
Cat Busters is hosting its Fifth Annual Purrfect Gala fundraiser this Sunday Nov 9. Once again, Statlers Lounge (487 Church St.) has stepped up to the plate and offered their venue for the event. From 4:00 to 8:00pm, our MC will lead you through an evening of live music, entertainers, comedy, fortune telling, and even Santa. As you sip your beer or cocktails, feel free to also peruse the numerous items that are up for bidding in our Silent Auction. It’s a great opportunity to get your holiday shopping done and even treat yourself to some goodies.
All proceeds go straight to the veterinary care of our rescues — everything from spaying/neutering to critical surgeries for those in dire need. Remember the rescue (and eventual adoption, yay!) of sweet Tripod, the feral who was found with a leg missing? Last year’s Gala was a roaring success, which went a long way towards helping these special cats. Help us repeat (and perhaps even surpass) that happy story!
